Kylie wins Outstanding Student Presenter Award at ACS!

Congratulations to senior Kylie McCoy, who attended the ACS Spring 2026 national meeting in Atlanta, GA, where she presented her research and won an Outstanding Student Presenter Award for exemplary research!

Kylie received Charles Center Research in Motion funding to attend and present her talk, “Mitigating overestimation in rehydroxylation dating: residual hydroxyls and the role of firing temperature in ancient pottery.” We are so proud of her and thrilled to share that she will be continuing at W&M as a Master’s student in the Spinlab. Congratulations, Kylie!
